Our Landhaus Alte Salzstraße is a truly special gem that you will love!

Highly valued by its owners, furnished to a high standard for personal use, and lovingly maintained, it opens its doors to provide you with wonderful holiday weeks!

Situated on the old salt route leading to the lagoon city of Venice, it is now your oasis for a vacation in the Ausseerland. In just 3 km, you can reach Grundlsee, 2 km to Bad Aussee, and about 4 km to the cross-country skiing trail around Ödensee. For skiing enjoyment, you have the choice between Tauplitz and Loser or the Dachstein Glacier in Obertraun.

The Alte Salzstraße house offers light, space, and a lot of comfort. The owners' love for the house is felt everywhere, and the high-quality furnishings invite you to enjoy your stay. You will find 300 sqm of living space and a 2500 sqm garden with a swimming pond. If you visit in summer, you’ll surely want to stay longer, and in winter, it’s unbeatable in coziness!

The main house features three bedrooms, each with its own adjoining bathroom. This way, you and your loved ones have plenty of privacy while being under one roof. The three bedrooms are on the first floor of the house, offering wonderful views of the Ausseerland, with one room also featuring a balcony.

The heart of the house is the light-flooded and exquisitely equipped kitchen-living area in English country house style.

Here you can enjoy the Dolce Vita of vacation, share hearty laughs over dinner, and walk barefoot into the garden in the morning.

The spacious garden offers a terrace for breakfast in the morning, a cozy set for afternoon cake, and a lovely shaded spot near the swimming pond.

In the main house, the living room with an open fireplace, which can also be heated, awaits you! Here you will also find the house library with a good selection of board games. On the ground floor, you can relax in the TV room with an exclusive selection of DVDs, in the sauna with direct access to the garden and pond, and with its own bathroom.

In the annex above the carport, you will find another unit for two people, fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom with a seating area. There is also a sports room with a table tennis table for rainy days.

Here you will be pampered – the minimum stay in the house is 6 nights, and every third day, our cleaning fairy comes for 2 hours for a cleaning service included in the rental price.

If you need more frequent cleaning, we can gladly arrange that at your expense.
