In winter, the nearby Postalm area is ideal for skiing, cross-country skiing, and ski tours. Additionally, the Wolfgangseer Advent will enchant you.
Also close to Lake Wolfgang are the festival city of Salzburg, Hallstatt with its salt mines, and the imperial Bad Ischl.
